John has been the Executive Chef at The Regency Health Spa in Hallandale Beach, Florida since 1995. The Regency is famous for it's weight loss program that features John's delicious organic vegetarian cuisine. The Regency is also proud to have hosted many NHA conferences and will continue to do so.
Prior to The Regency, John spent an illustrious career with Marriott Hotels and Resorts. He was the Executive Chef at the Tampa, Miami Biscayne, Marco Island and Tarrytown, New York properties. John also participated in the grand opening of the Times Square New York Marriott Marquis, as well as the Harbor Beach Ft. Lauderdale Marriott.
Chef John's formal education included Florida International University School of Hotel/Restaurant Management and he trained in Southern France with Roger Verge at his famous Moulin de Mougin restaurant.
John teaches healthy vegetarian cooking classes at The Regency Spa and Nutrition Smart Health Food Stores. He has also given food demonstrationsat Whole Foods Markets, Borders, and Barnes and Nobles. He has also cooked for a host of celebrities…..Alice Cooper, Emeril Lagasse, Michael Douglas, Catherine Bach and Steve Landesberg to name a few.
Chef John has been featured in numerous publications such as: Vegetarian Times, Ft. Lauderdale Sun Sentinel and the NHA's Health Science Magazine. He is the author of Vegetarian Magic cookbook and a DVD "Cooking with Tofu". He is presently finishing his next healthy eating cookbook.

The most important thing in John's life is his family. John and Maco are the proud parents of two beautiful children, Johnny and Bella. The live and play in the South Florida country western town of Davie.
